Minister of youth and sports development, Barrister Solomon Dalung is flaunting what he calls a strong communication channel created by his office to accord officials, stakeholders and athletes better opportunities of cordial interactions.
Dalung told sports247.ng that the ministry has deliberately created an easy communication channel among the country’s sports administrators, coaches and players for enhanced growth of the sector.
He boasted: “Gone are the days when athletes will be in need, yet keep suffering in silence for fear of intimidation.
“Henceforth, all athletes will be encouraged to speak out, once they have genuine grievances or issues that need to be tackled effectively.
“At the same time, all athletes or players who reports to camp for any competition to represent the country must be payed their allowances due to them without delay.”
