Chukwueze Back in Frame for Fulham’s London Derby Showdown with Spurs

Samuel Chukwueze is pushing for a return to action as Fulham F.C. prepare for a high-stakes London derby against Tottenham Hotspur F.C. at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

The Nigerian winger missed Fulham’s 3–1 Premier League victory over Sunderland A.F.C. at the Stadium of Light last weekend and was also absent for the FA Cup triumph against Stoke City F.C. due to a minor calf injury. His absence briefly stalled his growing influence within Marco Silva’s attacking setup.

Head coach Marco Silva has confirmed that Chukwueze returned to training this week and is being closely monitored ahead of the derby.

Silva revealed via the club’s official media channels that both Chukwueze and Saša Lukić have been in and out of contention but completed a productive week on the training pitch.

He also disclosed that Antonee Robinson has resumed full sessions, with a final decision on availability to be made after the team’s last workout.

Since joining Fulham on a season-long loan from AC Milan last summer, Chukwueze has made an immediate statement.

In 13 Premier League appearances for the Whites, he has contributed three goals and four assists, adding directness and creativity to Fulham’s frontline.

With momentum building and derby bragging rights on the line, Chukwueze’s potential return offers Fulham another attacking weapon.

If cleared, his pace and flair could be decisive against Spurs in what promises to be an intense London battle.
