CAF CONFEDERATION CUP PREVIEW: ZESCO UNITED VS KEIZER CHIEFS

It’s now or never for Zesco United of Zambia to make it to the group stages of the CAF confederation cup for the first in the history of the club.

 Kaizer Chiefs are wounded from the first leg in Ndola where they lost 3-1 pants down against the host.Their Germany manager, Ernst Middendorp, has a huge task to over turn the 3-1 deficit which they suffered in Ndola last fixtures. Zesco United need to be at their top level in South Africa,to stop the likes of David Castro, Ektein, Manyama, Khama Billiat, Willard Katsande, Godfrey Walusimbi from causing havoc.
 Zesco, in defence they are missing two key players,Fackson Kapumbu and Owino Odhiambo, who are out injured.Marcelo Kalonda,who missed the first leg in Ndola,is part of the team to feature in the reverse fixture at FNB in Johanesburg.
Zesco United,will rely on Lazarous Kambole and Jesse were in the final third to destroy Kaizer Chiefs,with John Ching’andu joining them from the hole in midfield as attacking midfielder . Mwila Phiri Jnr and Simon Silwimba,will play as the two wing backs-while Anthony Akum and Marcel Kalonda,including clement Mwape.
The coach might likely start with his two centre-backs: Khondwani Mtonga and Misheck Chaila,will play as the two deep-lying or sitting midfielders.
 The match will be played at 20:00 hrs at Soccer city stadium-a tense, high-pressing, high-risk, and high-octane match,with good attacking football verve
