Nigerian defender Blessed Isigbo has completed a move to Turkish Women’s Football Super League side Kayseri Kadın FK, bringing an end to her three-year spell with Nigeria Women’s Football League club Remo Stars Ladies.

Confirming the move on social media, the Nigerian defender expressed her gratitude and excitement at joining her new club.
“Glad to be part of this family. Just a poor black girl from Choba, Rivers State, Nigeria. Thank you Jesus,” Isigbo wrote.
Her message reflected the significance of the move and the journey that has taken her from Choba in Rivers State to the Turkish top flight.
Isigbo spent three years with Remo Stars Ladies, where she developed into an important defensive player and gained valuable experience competing in the Nigerian women’s football league.

The defender will also have familiar company at her new destination, with fellow Nigerian midfielder Adebesi Adetoun Dosumu already part of the Kayseri setup.
