Four top sides — Buji LGA BSC, Gumel LGA BSC, Jahun LGA BSC, and Y. Sega BSC — have booked their spots in the historic showdown and will battle for supremacy in what promises to be a thrilling two-day spectacle.
The competition will be staged at the 3rd Gate, along Madobi Road, at the Federal University Dutse Beach Soccer Pitch, beside the Male Hostel.
Action kicks off on February 15 and concludes on February 16, 2026, with fans expected to turn out in numbers to witness high-intensity encounters on the sand. Beyond the race for silverware, the tournament carries deeper significance.
It is organised in recognition of the remarkable contributions of ABSU President, Mahmud Hadejia, whose efforts have played a key role in promoting and developing beach soccer across the region.
The event underscores the growing structure and organisation within the sport at the grassroots level in Jigawa State.
The Super 4 Finals also serve as a talent discovery platform, with scouts and stakeholders keenly observing emerging players ahead of the 2026 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL).
For many of the participating athletes, this competition represents not just a shot at glory, but a stepping stone to bigger opportunities on the national stage.
With pride, prestige, and future prospects on the line, the ABSU President’s Cup Super 4 Finals is poised to deliver excitement and further cement Dutse’s place as a rising hub for beach soccer development in Nigeria.
