Alalade Pledges More Goals For Flying Eagles

Enyimba of Aba winger, Wasiu Alalade says he is happy that he finally scored his first goal for the Flying Eagles at the ongoing WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations in Lome, Togo, and pledged in a chat with sports247.ng that he will work hard to score more.

With a semi-final clash against Mali looming large on Friday, Alalade is already thinking big of another heroic outing, following his sizzler in Wednesday’s 4-2 win against Ghana.

It was a big turnaround from the blanks he fired in the opening goalless draw with Niger Republic, but the winger, who is playing as a top striker for Nigeria at the regional competition, said he wants to score more.He said: “I am happy to finally break the duck and I hope top score more. I also hope that my goals will help the Flying Eagles win this competition in Togo.”
