Atletico Madrid of Spain winger, Ademola Lookman has been hit with a strong warning that he cannot win this year’s UEFA Champions League with the LA Liga side … unless they change their style of play.

Sports247 reports that this verdict came from Real Madrid of Spain legend, Toni Kroos, who reckoned that Lookman’s team are too predictable in their approach to the game.
Although Kroos hailed Atletico’s defensive tactics in tight situations, he opined that they were able to defeat Barcelona in Tuesday’s quarter-finals fixture because the Catalans, who played better, had a player sent off.
The German star then submitted that Lookman’s side will need a daring approach to overcome the Nigerian-born trio of Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke’s Arsenal of England in the semi-finals, then edge closer to the trophy.
He, however, reckoned that Los Rojiblancos do not have what it takes to surmount either Bayern Munich of Germany or Paris-Saint Germain should they reach next month’s UCL final.
Kroos told DAZN: “It’s just a personal opinion, but I think Atlético Madrid won’t win the Champions League. There are teams left in the competition that play better than them.
“Atleti always knows how to defend a result very well. They had a significant advantage to advance. If they don’t change their style of play, they’re not going to win the Champions League.”
