Bayern Munich of Germany’s Nigerian-born midfielder, Michael Olise may have to stay put at the Bundesliga champions until 2032, as The Bavarians are not ready to sell the French international to any club at home or abroad.
Sports247 gathered that, with Real Madrid of Spain still lurking around the former Crystal Palace of England sensation, with a view towards luring him to Santiago Bernabeu Stadium from Allianz Arena, Bayern’s top brass has quickly tabled a new offer before him.
The new deal that has been put before Olise is set to run for six years, with immense improvements and added incentives on his current package, all in frenetic efforts to make him stay put in Munich.
Aside interest from Madrid, Olise has also reportedly been approached by top clubs in France and England, such that egg heads in Bayern know they have to do something fast in order to keep him beyond the next transfer window.
A transfer to Real Madrid is still being bandied across Europe’s transfer scene, thereby causing some unease among fans and sponsors of The Bavarians, but they would feel comforted to learn that the club’s top shots are not sitting back or taking the matter lightly.
Consequently, despite transfer speculation growing around the mulatto dazzler with each passing day, Bayern are staying optimistic about securing a contract extension for him before 2026 runs out and then keep him for another six years.
German publication, BILD added, “The Bundesliga champions were firm in their summer stance to reject all transfer bids for their flying Frenchman amid rumours of an incoming offer from Real Madrid.
“Olise has been sensational for Bayern, with 50 goals scored in 114 appearances plus two German top-flight titles, and the club are not taking any chances over his long-term future in Bavaria, with his current deal expiring in June 2029.
“Talks over a new deal are progressing positively, and Bayern are hopeful the 24-year-old will sign a new deal until 2032 alongside a major salary increase.”
