Highly promising Nigerian striker, Gift Orban has received the nod from top officials at TSG Hoffenheim of Germany for him to join Amedspor of Turkey on loan from his Bundesliga club, whose sporting director, Paul Pajduch is talking positively about the deal.
Sports247 gathered that it means Orban will again play on loan away from ‘The Village Club,’ but Pajduch believes it is a good step for the 22-year-old attacker, who spent last season with Hellas Verona of Italy.
During that spell, Orban scored seven goals and provided two assists in 28 appearances across all competitions, which Pajduch described as a very formidable performance by the attacker, who joined TSG from Olympique Lyon of France in January 2025.
Pajduch stated: “After his good scoring rate at Hellas Verona, we received several inquiries for him. Together, we decided to transfer him to Amed SFK, where he can demonstrate his qualities in an intensive league.
“The loan agreement now concluded with the club, Amed SFK, from the city of Diyarbakir, includes a subsequent purchase option, which can become an obligation to purchase under certain conditions.”
