Onyah stormed to a new Personal Best of 23.60 seconds to clinch the 200m title, earning her first NCAA conference crown. She finished ahead of Jizzale Davis (23.79s) and 60m champion Nayla Harris (23.87s) in a fiercely contested race.

The victory marks a major milestone for the Nigerian athlete, signaling her steady rise in collegiate athletics.

She nearly completed a remarkable sprint double in the 400m, clocking 52.89 seconds in a dramatic finish. Onyah closed powerfully in the final meters but was narrowly edged out by Rushana Dwyer, who crossed the line in 52.88s — just one hundredth of a second ahead.

Despite the razor-thin margin, Onyah’s performance underlined her growing strength and versatility across both sprint distances.

With a conference title secured and personal best achieved, the future looks even brighter for the Nigerian speedster.
