President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod, praised the competition for highlighting emerging talents and creating opportunities for national team development.
“The competition brought to light several new and unexpected talents, which is a positive challenge for the federation and national team selectors,” Nimrod said.
He outlined preparations for the 2026 season, which will feature several major continental tournaments, including the zonal eliminations for the African Nations Cup in Ouagadougou, the African Club Championship (Zone 3) in Ghana, and Nigerian clubs’ participation in the African Club Championship in Kigali in April.
Separate men’s and women’s continental championships are also scheduled, with the women’s event set to hold in Egypt.
“These competitions will be challenging, but Nigeria will be ready,” Nimrod added, signaling confidence in the nation’s volleyball prospects.
