Wonderlight Football Academy’s Coach Adebayo Ayomide Showers Praise On National Sports Commission

A fresh round of praise has come for the current leadership in Nigeria’s National Sports Commussion (NSC), as the coach of Wonderlight Football Academy, Adebayo Ayomide Oluwasemilore believes they are doing a great job.

Coach Ayomide disclosed this in an exclusive chat with Sports247, during which he also praised Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for recently stepping up its efforts in enhanced development of the round leather game across the country.

Although he admitted that a lot still has to be done, the energetic youth developer, who trains teenage players regularly at LA Primary School, along Igando-Ikotun Road in Lagos, enthused that the results of recent efforts by both the NFF and NSC will soon start to materialise.

He also thanked a nearby company, Patoye Image Concept, for supporting his academy financially since they commenced operations early this year, with a central focus built on their motto: ‘One Team One Mind.’

While also pointing out that the academy equally trains at Egan Primary School, he praised the captain, Olatunde Faruk and head coach, Dosunmu Pelumi Daniel, for their efforts, especially during the recent Puma & Friends Cup.

Coach Ayomide disclosed: “My passion is in building the boys and taking them as far as possible. I am also hoping for better opportunities for them, as we train hard every day.

“I hope they will continue to get better and improve. I believe they will all grow well to showcase Wonderlight Football Academy to the world. It’s a team where the boys are in one mind and in the same spirit.

“As for Nigeria’s sports officials, I think they are doing a good job. So, I give a very big kudos to them, and I’m looking forward to getting big opportunities from them.”
