The team is set to hold their first training session at 6 PM local time, where tactical drills and match simulations will prepare them for the high-stakes encounters ahead.

Officials confirmed that the focus will be on team cohesion, attacking combinations, defensive organization, and set-piece routines.

The squad’s assembly comes amid renewed hope for Nigeria’s qualification bid following FIFA’s deduction of three points from South Africa, which has reopened the door for the Super Eagles.

Despite the newfound opportunity, Éric Chelle and his coaching staff have stressed the importance of discipline and focus, reminding the players that qualification will depend solely on their performances on the pitch.

Fans have flooded social media with excitement, expressing confidence in the squad’s depth and quality.

The arrival of the 15 players marks a critical milestone in Nigeria’s World Cup journey, signaling that the Super Eagles are now in full preparation mode to fight for the victories that could secure their place on football’s biggest stage.

With the squad complete and the first session set to kick off this evening, all eyes are on Polokwane as Nigeria begins its final push toward World Cup2026.
