Denmark’s top table tennis player, Anderson Lind is still relishing memories of the experience he had during the recent WTT Contender in Lagos, where he recalled that the atmosphere and fans were simply amazing.
Sports247 reports that Lind, who was the World Table Tennis (WTT) sanctioned competition’s number one seed, defeated Croatia’s Tomislav Pucar to win the competition in Molade Okoya-Thomas Hall at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.

He has now taken a look back at his visit to Lagos and declared that the facilities, accommodation, hospitality and spectators were better than what he has seen in many other countries.
Anderson Lind declared, “The hall in which we played during the competition was very nice. The hotel and everything were really better this year.
“In my opinion, it was just a great experience in Lagos. The people are super nice and the crowd is amazing.
“They bring great energy into the sport, which we lack in many other places where we go to play.”
The Danish sensation acknowledged that he was delighted to emerge as men’s winner in the $100,000 worth competition, but stressed that the biggest delight for him was the atmosphere he enjoyed in Lagos.
“Yeah, I’m very happy and satisfied; not only with the results, but also with my experience as a whole in Lagos,” Anderson Lind affirmed.
