With this latest feat, Ayeleso has etched his name into Nigeria’s football folklore as an FA Cup specialist, having now featured in three different finals across his career with three clubs. He helped Nasarawa United to a runners-up medal in 2016, won the title with Kano Pillars in 2019, and now repeats the triumph with Kwara United in 2025.
Speaking after the award, Ayeleso expressed gratitude for the recognition, crediting his teammates, coaches, and fans for their belief:
“This is a moment I will always cherish. I’ve worked hard for years, and to help Kwara United lift this trophy for the first time is a dream come true. I dedicate this award to everyone who stood by me through the highs and lows.”
The 2025 Federation Cup journey has not only solidified Ayeleso Suraj’s status as a cult hero among Kwara United faithful but also elevated him to legendary status as one of the most consistent goalkeepers in the history of the competition.
As Kwara United prepares for their CAF Confederation Cup campaign, all eyes will be on their reliable number one — the man who delivers when it matters most.
