Hungbo admitted that the loss was difficult to take especially with the fact that a win or draw will put them in a good spot in group A2 but they spurned the chance as they they fell to a 2-1 loss today at the Surulere Legacy Pitch, Sports247.ng writes.

“Before this game, we had a plan to get a win and at minimum, settle for a draw and we were right on it but after we conceded the goal, we were unable to get ourselves back in the game.”

“The technical aspects of our game wasn’t up to that level today and we lost a lost of balls in the final third, we couldn’t take our chances and it came back to hunt us.

“We won’t dwell so much on the loss, we need to get on ahead as soon as possible because we just have a day interval until the next game, so we need to recover and prepare well for next game,” he stated.

Up next for Totenme Hungbo and T.K. Bariga is game against North York FC at the Surulere Legacy Pitch on Saturday, July 29.
