A delegation from Youthful and Useful Projects has paid a courtesy visit to the Abia State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Sir Nwaobilor Ananaba, to commend the state government for its support and partnership in advancing youth-focused initiatives across the state.
The delegation was led by the founder and organiser of the initiative, Dr Ajere Grace Chikamnaele Nancy, alongside the Conference Organising Head of Protocol, Mr Ekenwa Amarachukwu, and committee members Akwuruoha Marvelous, Chukwuemeka Sunday, Dr Aluka Obioma (Founder, Lift the Boy Child Initiative), Pharm. Ifeanyi Obasi, and Elvis Uche.

During the visit, the team expressed appreciation for the Abia State Government’s backing of the recently concluded Youthful and Useful Conference and Outreach, describing the support as instrumental to the success of the programme.
They explained that Youthful and Useful Projects is dedicated to empowering young people through annual empowerment conferences, skill acquisition programmes and business start-up mentorship, aimed at preparing youths for sustainable livelihoods.
The organisers also highlighted the group’s engagement in voluntary social interventions, including free medical outreaches and feeding programmes for street children, noting that such initiatives reflect their commitment to holistic community development. According to them, the project’s guiding vision is encapsulated in its motto, “Raising global giants, giving back to the society.”
Responding, Sir Nwaobilor Ananaba commended the organisation for its consistency and passion in youth transformation, describing its programmes as complementary to the developmental goals of the state.
He reaffirmed the readiness of the Abia State Government to partner with credible individuals and organisations whose interventions are people-centred and impact-driven, stressing that youth empowerment remains a key priority of Governor Alex Chioma Otti’s administration.
The visit concluded with a shared commitment by both parties to strengthen collaboration, expand opportunities for young people in Abia State, and drive sustainable community development across the state.
