Visionaries Drown NOBEI FC As WINNERS FC Holds Reigning Champions Big Daddy FC To 1-1 Draw

Visionaries FC of Ogwashi Uku spanked NOBEI FC by 12-1 in the opening match of the 2022 Anioma Nations Cup. The tournament which is being organized by the Delta north Football Coaches Council kicked off on Saturday 29th October at 6 Centers with 24 Clubs and Academy in the Delta North Region of the State taking part.

Defending Champions Big Daddy FC were held to a 1-1 Draw by Winners FC while Agbor United fell 1-2 to city rivals Ihuyase FC in the other match in Agbor Centers.

Over at Kwale center, it was a clash of two titans between Ndame FA and 2022 FA cup and bet9ja-DFA Finalist Osevan FC but it was the Coach Uche Chukwuma tutored Ndame side that prevailed 2-1.

Hostilities in one of the Asaba Zone between Mimi Fc and Sowers FC was fierce right from the kick off but the resilient Mimi FC prevailed after coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 against Sowers who lost their cool towards the end of the match.

Also in Asaba, De king whitewashed texas FC by the unreplied goals as raiders FC prevailed over Mega Stars with similar score line.

Five Stars and Royal FC shared the spoils playing out a 1-1 draw While Anayounns fell by a lone goal to Dubbins FC. The Match between the stars in Ogwashi uku ended with the Rising stars nipping the Bright Stars by a solitary goal.

NYSC FC defeated Santos 2 goals to 1 to wrap up the week one fixtures resulting to a total of 39 goals scored from 11 matches played. there were 9 wins and 2 draws.

*WEEK 2: Agbor United, Sowers FC seek redemption*

The Local Organizing committee chairman, Coach Patrick Okeleke on Wednesday released the fixtures for the week 2 matches to take place in all centers with attention once again turning to the Asaba and Agbor Centers.

Sowers FC will take on Mega Stars at the St Mulumba ground in a winner take all match. Both sides lost their opening games and a defeat for either side could well be the end of the road for qualification from the zone. Over at Agbor, newly formed Agbor United will be seeking redemption as they face defending champions Big Daddy FC. The coach Ogundeji Adeyinka Led Agbor United were arguably the better side in their 2-1 defeat in the hads of Ihuyase in the opening match however they will need to control their discipline and stay calm to overcome hard fighting Big Daddy, the match is billed for 3pm on Saturday at the Agbor township stadium.

Alika FC will be called to action for the first time as they take on Bright Stars FC who lost by a lone goal and knows a defeat could be the end of the road for them. The Coach Emeka Okwutu Alika side could be match rusty having not tasted action, however Coach Alana will need to motivate his jaded Bright stars to wake up from their slumber.
The battle at the federal Technical college Ibusa road between Raiders and mimi could well see the first side to qualify for the next round should any of them go home with the maximum points. Meanwhile Red velvet will be tasting actions for the first time playing in front of their home fans when they host Five Stars at the St Mulumba ground.

The tournament has attracted many followers in the various centers with the Agbor Center attracting well over 300 cheering fans last weekend when city rivals Winners took on Big Daddy followed by the Clash between Agbor United and Ihuyase FC.
