VICTOR OSIMHEN IS ADDICTED TO SCORING GOALS

A 16th minute sublime strike by Victor Osimhen was enough for Lille to earn three solid points in a tough contest against Nimes in Ligue 1.

The Super Eagles forward has been scoring goals for fun this season. He has now scored five match winners for Lille in Ligue 1. Only Lewandowski and Immobile have as much across Europe’s top five leagues.

However, he has been tagged as the next superhero for the Super Eagles. His immense talent was on display in Lesotho. He scored twice and assists twice as Nigeria vanquished the crocodiles by four goals to two in the last AFCON qualifiers.

Lille currently sit third in Ligue 1 and are in a comfortable position to contest for a champions league spot in anticipation for next season. The 21 year old has carved a niche for himself with his great positioning in the box in conjunction with brutal finishing. He also adds something extra to the team by providing assists for teammates.

Unfortunately, the team has been eliminated from the Champions League this season. An away game against Chelsea is the next challenge and a win at Stamford bridge will be exciting for the fans to talk about.

Chelsea are hoping to secure qualification to the next round, so the game is very tricky. Once again, he will spearhead the attack against a strong team under the tutelage of Frank Lampard.
