Showtime Flag Football League is preparing to give its champions something designed to represent far more than victory, with a spectacular new Showtime Bowl trophy concept valued at no less than $20,000 set to become one of the defining symbols of the league’s growing ambition.
The new championship trophy has been conceived as a statement piece for Showtime Bowl XV and the future of the competition, reflecting the league’s determination to build the prestige, traditions and championship culture expected of a serious professional sporting property.
Standing approximately 24 inches tall, the concept takes its inspiration directly from the game itself. Its striking football-shaped body features a prominent central lace design, while the black and stainless-steel finish gives the trophy a distinctive identity. Two handles carry red and blue flag elements, immediately connecting the championship prize to the sport of flag football, while the base carries the word “CHAMPIONS” — the title every Showtime team will spend Season XV fighting to earn.
At the front sits the Showtime Bowl identity, while the Showtime Flag Football League branding appears on the reverse, creating a trophy that is unmistakably connected to the competition.
But the significance of the proposed $20,000-plus trophy goes beyond its materials or monetary value. Showtime wants to create an object that athletes dream about lifting, fans immediately recognise and future generations of champions regard as the ultimate symbol of success in the league.
