Nigerian attacker Victor Orakpo has officially completed a loan move to Turkish Süper Lig side Gençlerbirliği S.K., joining from French club OGC Nice.

The move sees the talented forward begin a fresh chapter in his career in Ankara, where he will compete at the highest level of Turkish football and look to make his presence felt with the Ankara Rüzgârı.
Orakpo arrives with the ambition of taking his game to another level, gaining valuable experience and contributing to Gençlerbirliği’s campaign with his attacking qualities.
For the Nigerian youngster, the move to Turkey represents another important opportunity to develop his career in European football while adapting to a different footballing environment.
Speaking after completing the move, Orakpo said:
