Victor Moses in Advanced Talks for MLS Move to New York Red Bulls

Former Super Eagles winger Victor Moses is on the verge of a new career chapter, with reports indicating he is in advanced negotiations to join Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit New York Red Bulls.

The 34-year-old became a free agent after mutually parting ways with Luton Town last summer, and sources close to his management team, ROOF, have confirmed that talks with the American club are “progressing positively.”

Moses’ brief stint with the Championship side was marred by injury setbacks, restricting him to just 18 appearances and one goal.

Despite that, his pedigree and versatility continue to attract attention, particularly from clubs seeking experienced leadership and attacking depth.

A seasoned professional with over a decade of top-flight experience, Moses has featured for several of Europe’s elite sides, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Inter Milan, West Ham United, and Fenerbahçe.

He was also a key figure in Nigeria’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations triumph and represented the Super Eagles at two FIFA World Cups.

If finalized, the move to New York Red Bulls would mark Moses’ first venture into North American football — a fresh opportunity to reignite his career in one of the world’s fastest-growing leagues.

For both player and club, the deal represents a strategic fit: the Red Bulls gain a proven winner with global experience, while Moses gets a platform to extend his illustrious career in a competitive yet rejuvenating environment.
