Nigerian striker Victor Mbaoma is set for a new chapter in his career after parting ways with Rwandan Premier League champions APR FC following the expiration of his contract.
The 26-year-old forward leaves the Kigali-based club on a high, having played a pivotal role in APR’s domestic double triumph in the 2023/24 season.

Mbaoma was instrumental in front of goal, finishing as joint-top scorer in the league with 15 goals, a feat that underlined his attacking prowess and consistency.
In addition to his league exploits, Mbaoma also made his mark on the continental stage, netting twice in four appearances during APR’s CAF competition campaign.
His departure marks the end of a successful one-season stint in Rwanda, and the striker is now set to explore fresh opportunities as interest builds from clubs across Africa and beyond.
