Days after leaving Kwara United, defensive midfielder, Victor Adeoye, has completed a 1-year transfer move to Ukrainian club Kudrivka FC.
Victor’s move to Ukraine comes few days after suffering a disappointment at Turkish second division club Bucaspor who failed to sign him after sustaining a knock while training with them.
He returned to Nigeria and has been on recovery process in Osogbo before the deal for him to move to Ukraine came at his doors.
According to Victor, he explained that those at the Ukrainian club reached out to ask him through his agent the reason he did not sign for Turkish side Bucaspor.
The former Gateway FC midfielder explained to Kudrivka eggheads that he was not signed at Bucaspor because of the injury he sustained.
“They asked me if the injury is a serious one and that I should also send results and scans of the injury. They then saw that it remains 2 weeks and some days for me to recover and the club said they will sign me.
“To me surprise, the club started all the process and sent me contract paper which I went through and I signed it. I can’t believe that the club signed me with injury.
“I am still in Osogbo and very soon, I will be traveling to Ukraine. I want to thank my God for this opportunity because I have been thinking where I would start again after the failed move to Turkey,” Victor Adeoye explained.
Meanwhile, Kudrivka FC are currently occupying 12th position on the Ukrainian Premier League standings.
