Veteran journalist, editor, businessman and administrator, Fan Ndubuoke will this Tuesday take sports writers in Imo State through ethics of the profession and general expectations from them while living life on a daily basis.
Sports247 reports that Ndubuoke, who is also a former president of Sportswriters Association of Nigeria (SWAN) will deliver a lecture on the theme ‘Balancing Truth and Loyalty: Ethical Responsibilities in Sports Reporting.’

This was disclosed by the chairman of Imo State SWAN, Cosmos Chukwuemeka and the secretary, Tunde Liadi, added that valuable insights into ethical demands of sports journalism will be gained from Ndubuoke (aka Ezinwa Mbaise).
They added that Ndubuoke, who is also an erstwhile chairman of Heartland FC of Owerri, Imo State Sports Commission and football association, will stress the need for journalists to remain objective while maintaining professional relationships.
A media statement heralding the event noted in part, “Drawing from his wealth of experience in sports administration and journalism, Ndubuoke is expected to guide members on maintaining credibility, integrity, and balance in their reporting.
“The leadership of SWAN Imo emphasizes that the workshop is vital for enhancing professional standards and reinforcing ethical conduct among members in an evolving media landscape.
“Members are strongly encouraged to attend the general congress, which will precede the workshop, and actively participate in both engagements. All activities will take place at No. 26 School Road, Owerri.”
