The grand finale of the yearly Umualumaku Unity cup competition donated and sponsored by the Executive Secretary of the Club Owners Association of Nigeria Alloy Chukwuemeka will hold on Sunday 30th December 2018.
The Final ceremony billed to hold at National primary school Umualumaku in Ehime Mbano local government of Imo state will kick off by 4pm between Umuoparalum FC vs Umuihim FC after the defending champions Umudibia FC were eliminated in the semi finals.
The championship was initiated by Chukwuemeka who also doubles as the Director of football of ABS FC Ilorin, to fish out hidden soccer talents in his community as well as for peaceful coexistence and foster unity in the community.
Dignitaries expected at the annual soccer fiesta include the traditional ruler of Umualumaku Eze C. Okoro Aku 1 as the father of the day, others are the chairman of Heartland FC Owerri Hon. Chibuzor Etuemena, Rtd General Chukwu of Ehime Mbano utd FC, members of Imo state football Association as well as prominent sons and daughters of the community.
Some of the events lined up at the final ceremony include dancing competition amongst young children during the match intervals as well as musical displays and award of prizes and gift items.
Meanwhile the Nigeria pillar of sports Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike has donated a complete set of Jerseys for the winners while Sports kits giant Owu sports wear Ltd will provide kits and other gift items to various categories of winners.
