Tradesafe Sports Coaches Task Players To Get NNL Ticket

Head coach of Lagos-based amateur one side, Tradesafe Sports, Ademola Adeshina has urged his players to do everything within their capacity to get a promotion ticket to Nigeria National League NNL at the end of the season.

Adeshina made this assertion when his team played a barren draw with NNL side, Lagos City FC in a friendly match played recently at NYSC Camp, Iyana- Ipaja, Lagos.

Addressing the players after the friendly match, the former Stationery Store player charged his players to buckle up and come out on top in the league table in the forthcoming Amateur one League which commences early April.

He admonished the players to give their best and shun vices that can affect their football career. He said failure to get a promotion at the end of the season would be a huge disappointment to the coaching crew and the club owner.

“You need to get promotion in this season. We have been in amateur one for a long time and time has come to win the ticket to the NNL. We can do it if we can work together. We can do it if we believe in ourselves and we can do it if we show serious commitment and dedication to the club,” he said.

In his own comment, Assistant coach Chukwuemeka Njoku remained confident that the team can win the NNL ticket if the players put their act together. Njoku identified the only area he is worried about is the attacking line which admitted that the coaching crew needs to work on it before the commencement of the league.

“We have been losing many scoring chances in our recent friendly matches and as an amateur club, we need deadly strikers who can bite and are hungry for glory. Our defense line is good and other departments are okay. If we can solve the attacking problem, we are good to get promotion to NNL at the end of the season,” he said.

Meanwhile, Tradesafe Sports played a barren draw with MS Success FC of Mushin and beat NNL side, Ikorodu United 1-0 as part of build-up ahead of the amateur one league. On Wednesday, Tradesafe Sports defeated Valiant FC 2-1 to intensify their preparation ahead of the league
