Trabzonspor Target Moses Simon with €10 Million Bid Amid Everton Interest

Trabzonspor are reportedly preparing a €10 million bid to sign Nigerian international Moses Simon as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The Turkish Super Lig side has identified Simon as a key target in their summer transfer plans, with the club aiming to add more pace and creativity to their flanks.

Simon, who currently plays for French Ligue 1 outfit FC Nantes, has attracted interest after several consistent seasons in France.

Reports suggest that Nantes are open to letting the 28-year-old winger leave, especially as he nears the end of his five-year stint at the club. Simon joined Nantes in 2019 and has since established himself as a reliable attacking threat, known for his speed, dribbling, and versatility on the wing.

Trabzonspor face competition for his signature, with Premier League side Everton also said to be monitoring the situation closely. The Toffees, who are looking to reinforce their squad with experienced wide players, view Simon as a potential low-cost yet high-impact addition.

It remains to be seen whether Simon will favour a move to Turkey or England, but a transfer could be on the cards in the coming weeks as the summer window approaches.

Simon has earned over 60 caps for Nigeria and was part of the Super Eagles squad that finished as runners-up at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
