Life University’s sprint sensation, Tobi Oniyide, delivered a standout performance at the Star Athletics Sprint Series, clocking a blistering 10.24 seconds (+2.0) in the men’s 100m final to set a new personal best.
Oniyide, who has been enjoying an impressive season, had earlier posted a wind-aided time of 10.31s (+2.1) in the heats — a mark that would have been a lifetime best if not for the marginally illegal wind reading.

However, he made the most of his second opportunity, powering through the final with perfect conditions to officially smash his previous best of 10.34s, which he ran at the NAIA Nationals.
