Competing in the quarterfinals, Godbless clocked an impressive 11.11 seconds in the 100m and backed it up with a strong 22.68 seconds in the 200m — both automatic qualifying marks that sealed her ticket to Eugene, where this year’s championships will take place.
Currently holding the world-leading time in the women’s 100m, the LSU standout has established herself as one of the fastest women on the collegiate and global circuits this season.
Her double qualification not only reinforces her dominance, but also sets up what promises to be a thrilling sprint campaign at Hayward Field.
