Nigeria’s rising high jump sensation, Temitope Adeshina, continued her stellar form in the 2025 season with another commanding performance at the prestigious Corky/Crofoot Shootout held in Texas.
Adeshina cleared a remarkable height of 1.86 meters to clinch the women’s high jump title, marking her eighth consecutive victory of the year.
The Texas Tech athlete showed composure and consistency as she soared to the top of the podium, further solidifying her status as one of the top collegiate jumpers in the United States.
Adeshina wasn’t alone in the spotlight, as she led a dominant display by her team. Teammates Evelyn Lavielle and Alexis Ivy secured the second and third positions, clearing 1.80 meters and 1.75 meters, respectively. Their strong performances completed a clean sweep of the podium for the team.
This latest triumph adds to what has been an outstanding year for Adeshina, who is fast emerging as a major contender on the international stage ahead of upcoming global competitions.
