Iganmu Tiger came from a goal down to defeat Broad City 2-1 with the comeback starting courtesy of a goal from Kola Mohammed before the end of first half in match week four of The Creative Championship League 2023 season.
“Scoring the equalizer and ensuring the team picked maximum point is and inspiration for us all,” Kola told Sports247. “Being named man of the match wasn’t by my effort alone but the entire team”, he added.
Iganmu Tiger had earlier faced Broadcity in the TCC Cup and secured a 2-1 victory before another win, this time in the league by the same scoreline, a habit which Kola claims they want to keep.
“We want to maintain the winning culture, it won’t be easy because the league is getting tougher and teams and players are developing as this is my third season in the league and I can see great improvement and that’s why we are not giving up. We will keep fighting to get to the top and we know we have what it takes,” he said.
