TCC League: “Enforcing the Little Details Has Been Key To Our Success,” says Coach of Ijebu United Akande Fatai after thrashing Iganmu FC Away

“We have not really done anything. In this part of the world our mentality is very very important, there are different mentalities, different approach to the game and it’s the details.

Enforcing those details, getting them ready to be able to meet up with achieving those details is key,” was the thought of Coach Akande Fatai of Ijebu United speaking to Sports247 after his side picked up yet another win in The Creative Championship League match day ten.

The win was Ijebu United’s third win in the last four TCC League games as they kept their form of not losing in the last four league games with theur last loss coming in match day six against Gbagada FC at home.

Overall on the game, coach Akande felt the game was good, however he won’t praise the lads so much so they don’t get complacent as there are still areas he needs them to work on as a team regarded as a work in progress.

“My players are quality. Talent is never enough and other factors are needed for a player to succeed. But for new players, after noting their talent the next thing is if they’re ready to work and if so, I can go out of my way for you. Those are the players I’m looking for, average players with fantastic work ethics like Messi and Ronaldo and not fantastic players with work bad ethics,” said Coach Fatai on the quality of players in his side.

The win takes Ijebu United one place higher in the TCC League table from fourth to third with 17points from ten games while Iganmu FC remain second from bottom with seven points from ten games as well.
