The former Abiola Babes of Abeokuta trojan took another look at the competition’s opening weekend at Opebi Primary School, Ikeja and enthused that the project based at Gasper Street, Surulere, Lagos will go very far in grooming Nigeria’s hidden talents.
Disu revealed, “I’m now in charge of an American NGO youth soccer programme in Nigeria. We did the press programme last week in Lagos and it’s called SAMDA.
“I am the head of sports in Nigeria and Africa. I will be going to any country that wants to do a sporting programme for children who come from less privileged homes.
“For now, our under-13 football tournament is only the starting point. It reflects a broader commitment to grassroots development and a vision towards our large-scale impact across the country.”
