The return leg is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, at the historic Onikan Stadium in Lagos.
This double-header marks the Super Falcons’ first appearance since their impressive outing at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, and it offers Head Coach Randy Waldrum an opportunity to assess his squad ahead of the upcoming 2026 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The Cameroonian side, known for their physical style and competitive spirit, will provide a stern test for the Falcons, rekindling a historic West African rivalry that has seen memorable clashes over the years, including at the AWCON and Olympic qualifiers.
Fans are expected to troop out in large numbers to support the nine-time African champions as they aim to shake off rust and fine-tune their tactics. With several key players returning and promising youngsters expected to be given a chance, the matches are anticipated to deliver quality football and plenty of excitement.
Kick-off time for both fixtures will be confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in the coming days.
