CHRISTY OHIAERIAKU (EDO QUEENS)

Christy Ohiaeriaku made her debut for the Super Falcons in 2015 and was part of the victorious Super Falcons team at the 2014 AWCON in Namibia, she also represented Nigeria at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

She was also part of the Falconets team to the U-20 Women’s World Cup in Paupa New Guinea 2016.

An experienced Goalkeeper who has kept for FC Robo Queens, Osun Babes, Delta Queens, Confluence Queens, Rivers Angels and presently with Edo Queens in the Nigeria Women Football League. She had a brief stint with IFK Osterstund of Sweden.

MARYAM IBRAHIM (NASARAWA AMAZONS)

Originally from Osun state, but lived most of her life in Jos. Maryam is Captain fantastic at Nasarawa Amazons and helped the club win the league in 2013 and 2017. In 2019, she was instrumental to her side winning the AITEO Cup, defeating Rivers Angels in the final via penalties at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

She is a one-club player and has spent over 10 years at Nasarawa Amazons.

HABIBAT AKINWANDE (FC ROBO QUEENS)

Strong, reliable and focused at the back, Habibat Akinwande started her professional career at Lagos based side, FC Robo Queens.

The utility player left ‘The Lagos Landladies’ briefly in 2016 to join Nasarawa Amazons, before jetting out to Obilic FC of Serbia.

On her arrival in 2018 from Serbia, the experienced defender joined Premiership side Osun Babes and became a key player at the Osogbo City Stadium. She rejoined her girlhood club FC Robo Queens in 2020 and made the NWFL Premiership team of the week twice.

MONDAY GIFT (FC ROBO QUEENS)

One of the most skillful players in the NWFL Premiership. Monday Gift is blessed with a swift left foot that leaves alot of defenders confused.

Gift started her professional career with the defunct C.O.D Ladies of Lagos, before joining neighbours FC Robo Queens in 2017. She has been consistent and was a nominee for the NWFL Premiership Player of the season in 2018, 2019, and won the league’s player of the month of January (2021).

GLORY OGBONNA, (EDO QUEENS)

Glory Ogbonna can play either as a central defender or a left full-back. Her consistency earned her a big-money move from Ibom Angels, where she was captain to Edo Queens.

She captained Ibom Angels to two AITEO CUP finals in 2017 and 2019, though she wasn’t victorious in any of the finals.

She is a great leader on and off the pitch and was one of the favorite player of former Super Falcons coach, Thomas Dennerby.
