Highly esteemed youth developer and motivator, Idris Adewale Oseni opted for the commerative day of Nigeria’s independence to launch a brand new set of jerseys for his team, Super Accurate Football Academy of Ikotun, Lagos.
Sports247 reports that ‘Coach Super’ and his players in all age categories of the academy gathered very early on Thursday morning at their training base inside Ikotun Community Primary School, off Abaronje Road for the special occasion.
There had been great expectations, anxiety and suspense all along, after ‘Coach Super’ announced in July that the team, which is affiliated to Remo Stars of Ikenne, will start the last quarter of this year with a brand new set of flashy kit.
He praised a timely contribution from one of his players, Qoyum Olarewaju, who won a total cash award of N800,000 after emerging as top goal scorer in the recent Seamoriow U15 Football League Championship.
He equally thanked all parents of his young players for their continued trust in his ability to guide their kids in the right way to achieve their ambitions in successful future football careers, while also shaping their lives adequately.
“I am really happy and very grateful for what God is doing for this academy. He provided us with talented young players, great parents who are supporting us and a very capable chairman. I pray that we will use this new jersey to win many cups,” Coach Super supplicated.
Sports247 gathered further that Idris and his wards are already planning for their next competition, as the academy – which has squads for under-10, under-13, under-15 and senior boys – aims to stay busy at the grassroots, while setting sight on winning several trophies within their reach.
