However, she noted that business has been inconsistent, with fluctuating levels of activity. “It’s fine, but business has been off and on. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s bad,” she remarked.

Despite the challenges, Kwei maintained a positive outlook, emphasizing the importance of making the most of the opportunities available.

“We just have to take it the way it is. At the close of the day, we still take something home. It’s helping us in some way, and it’s not stressful,” she explained.

Kwei also highlighted some concerns regarding the prizes for vendors, mentioning that they may not always match the expenses incurred.

However, she expressed gratitude to the organizers for facilitating the event and creating a platform for vendors to showcase their products.

“We thank the organizers for bringing this program and hope they bring another one. God bless them for making this a wonderful occasion,” she said.

Furthermore, Kwei underscored the significance of the event as an opportunity to showcase Ghanaian culture and products to foreigners.

“It’s a good advertisement for Ghana to the foreigners. They have food, African wear, and other things. Everything you want for yourself; you can get them here,” she remarked.

Kwei expressed hope for the future, expressing her desire for similar events to be organized in the coming years.

“This helps us to advertise ourselves, and we hope they bring another one in the coming year,” she stated, reflecting the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of vendors participating in the All African Games.

She further expressed optimism that sales will pick up this weekend, as events reach a crescendo at the various venues.
