The youngster, who is fondly called ‘Afakago,’ said the friendly at Amanachi School offered him another opportunity to learn more ideas about the round leather game, especially as his team played away to a very tough opponent who did not want to lose at home.
“It was not an easy game and we played away from home. I am happy that my coach gave me the opportunity to play this match and I am glad that I got an assist for one of our goals.
“I am also happy that we did not lose the match, because our opponents were very rough and they really played us hard because they didn’t want to lose at home,” said Sixtus.
The adventurous right back and winger added that his coach, Victor Ezuchukwu Nwokeji is doing a great job in grooming him and other young players on a daily basis in the club, whose training ground is at Ihioma Prinary School.
