Simon Seeks Return To Spotlight Againat Girona

Levante of Spain winger, Moses Simon will aim for a breathtaking return to the spotlight with his club on Friday, as they kick-start their run of matches for the New Year against Girona.

 

 

Sports247.ng reports that both clubs are neck-on-neck on Liga log, with 22 points after 17 matches, such that Simon and his pals with hope for the best from home advantage at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.

 

On his personal level, Simon is back to first team training with his mates, ahead of the game, which will mark the beginning of the second half of the 2018/19 top-flight league season in Spain.

 

The former SK Trencin of Slovakia and KAA Gent of Belgium star, who has been riddled with injuries since arriving at Levante in the summer, got back into the team on Tuesday for his return to competitive action.

 

 

Simon, though, revealed that he delayed his resumption with the squad not because of injury but due to family matters, then joined full training on Thursday at Ciudad de València.

 

He will now hope for sweet words from Levante manager, Paco López, when the gaffer makes his first appearance of the year with the press.

 

Simon will put his trhoughts on getting into the match day squad on Friday, then brace up to be part of the busy January spree that is full of league (La Liga) and Spanish Cup (Copa del Rey) fixtures.
