The Super Eagles Supporters Club wishes to congratulate Akwa United FC of Uyo as they were crowned champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2020/2021 Season.
In a statement signed by the President of the Super Eagles Supporters Club Prince Vincent Okumagba, praised the Promise Keepers for their bravery and consistency which saw them lift their maiden NPFL title.
“It is with great joy to salute Akwa United Fc for winning the NPFL title.
They have shown that they are worthy Champions with their good run of form which saw them do an 18-match unbeaten run”.
Prince Okumagba however assured the team of massive support as they go on to represent Nigeria at the CAF Champions League through the Akwa Ibom State Chapter led by Pastor Wilfred Akpan.
“I have spoken with the Akwa Ibom State Chapter Chairman, Pastor Wilfred Akpan, and would love to let you know that Akwa United will have great support in every one of their Continental matches”.
Meanwhile, Prince Okumagba enjoins the club to continue on this tempo as SESC will be there to support them.
