Samako Demands Better Performance From GSC Players Ahead Fusion Football Championship

Chairman of Grace Sports Channel Football Club, Mike Samako has admonished his players to improve their performance ahead of Fusion Football Championship.

Samako disclosed this at the unveiling of club jersey ceremony ahead of 2022/23 new season which held over the weekend at Surulere, Lagos.

The club boss commended the players for their performance in the last fusion league championship and urged them to improve their game ahead of the new season.

“I am expecting better performance and good improvement from the players ahead of the forthcoming fusion league.They did well in the last league and this time around I am expecting better improvement and performance from the players which I believe they would live up to expectations when the league starts,”he said.

Samako admitted that the players need necessary exposure so that they can be marketed outside the country.

He said players can be marketed if such players play competitive league and high profile football competitions.

In his own comment, GSC coach, Kazeem Abioye expressed gratitude to the club owner for his financial commitment to the club and promised that the players would live up to expectations in the future competitions.

“We are aware of the challenges ahead and the players are ready to give their best when the league kicks off.I thank the chairman for this encouraging words and we promise to meet the club expectations,”he said.

Meanwhile chairman of fusion league championship, Abiodun Salau congratulated GSC for unveiling the new jersey and urged other clubs to follow suit.

He however revealed that the keagt would commence in the next two weeks and urged the club coaches to intensify their preparations ahead of the league.
