Edozie made 63 appearances for Southampton prior to his loan, contributing six goals. During his time at Anderlecht, he continued to develop, making his debut in a 2–2 draw against Westerlo and scoring his first goal for the club in a 1–1 draw with Dender.
He also made a notable impact in the Europa League, providing an assist and winning a penalty in a 2–1 victory over Ferencvaros.
Anderlecht’s CEO, Jesper Fredberg, praised Edozie’s technical abilities and versatility, stating that his addition brought more competition and variety to the squad.

With the club aiming for promotion, Edozie’s enhanced experience and performance could be instrumental in their campaign.
The Saints’ management has been closely monitoring Edozie’s progress, with staff making regular trips to Brussels during his loan spell.
His development abroad is expected to bolster Southampton’s attacking options as they prepare for the upcoming season.
As Edozie rejoins Southampton, fans and management alike will be eager to see how his international experience translates into performance on the pitch, potentially playing a key role in the club’s quest to return to the Premier League.
