Safety Shooters Falters On Day 3 Of Prudent Energy Handball Premier League Season 5 phase 2

Safety Shooters fell short of Prudent Energy Handball Premier League 2022 title chase as they lost a vital match on day 5 of the phase 2 of the league at the University of Lagos Sports Center, Lagos.

Safety Shooters lost to a determined Rima Strikers 25-24 to drop vital points and they are now four points behind Kano Pillars who capitalized on that and annihilated Police Machine with an emphatic 41-16 victory.

Other matches in the male category saw Confluence Stars leaving it to the end to defeat Tojemarine Academy of Lagos 28-27 while De Defenders defeated Owena Kings 24-18.

Another Lagos side, Seasider Boys had a painful defeat, losing against Benue Buffaloes 23 – 20.

In the Women Category, Seasider Babes of Lagos did what their male counterpart couldn’t do as they got an important 26-23 victory over Bendel Dynamos while Imo Grasshoppers defeated Plateau Peacocks 20-18.

Defending Safety Babes defeated Rima Queens 27-25.
