Rilwan Hassan has hailed his Midtjylland side after they mauled Vejle Boldklub 5-0 in the Danish Superligean for their 10th win of the season.
The hardworking player came off the bench for Gustav Wikheim in the 73rd minute of action at the MCH Arena on Sunday.
Midtjylland shot to the top of the table with 35 points following the ruthless win at their fortress.
“We have worked hard for this,” Rilwan Hassan told Sports247.ng.
“We have been humble – all the players are committed to the cause.
“It was necessary for us to have some defence balance. We got that, and we created some opportunities.
“These were three important points, top spot, five goals and a clean sheet.
“You have to be consistent a lot to win in this League, and that’s what we’ve done.”
