Expressing his delight, Popoola said, “I’m very happy about this promotion. It was one of my main goals when I joined the team.
This achievement means a lot to me, and I believe it’s all by God’s grace, not by my strength.”
Looking ahead, he added, “My next targets are to win more trophies with the team and to play in European competitions like the UEFA Europa League and, ultimately, the Champions League.”
On settling into his new environment, Popoola said he is adapting well. “Everyone here — the coaches, my teammates, and the fans — have been very supportive. That has made it easier for me to adjust.”
Since arriving at Kisvárda FC, Ridwan has impressed with his performances and has quickly become an integral part of the squad. With promotion secured, he is now focused on helping the club compete strongly in the Hungarian top division next season.
