Professional Footballer Association Of Nigeria Mourns Maradona In A Touching Letter Of Condolence

The Professional Footballer Association of Nigeria (PFAN) has mourned the demise of Legendary Argentina Footballer, Diego Armando Maradona, who died on Wednesday, at the age of 60 years.

The death of the Argentine Icon took the world by surprise with players, coaches, as well as everyone who knew the Legendary footballer having all expressed their sympathy and condolences to the loss of the former Argentine Machine.

PFAN was not left out as they wrote a letter of Condolence, describes the Former Argentine captain as an icon, role model, brother as well as one of the greatest the game has ever produced, admitting that football has lost an important personality.

“It is with a very heavy heart and a deep sense of loss that we mourn with FIFPRO and the rest of the world, especially the Argentina Footballers Union, over the demise of an icon, role model and brother, Diego Armando Maradona, one of the greatest the game has ever produced. Indeed, Football has lost a dearest son.

The Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN) on behalf of the entire Football Fraternity in Nigeria bid farewell and thank you for the Beautiful Memories and Inspirations you gave us. We miss you already, the whole world miss you, Rest in Peace Diego”.

The Condolence Letter was signed by the PFAN. General Secretary, Emmanuel Babayaro for the President, Tijani Babangida.
