Pro-Wrestling Africa Secretary-general Reveals Plans For Nigeria To Host Continental Election

The secretary-general of African Professional Wrestling Federation (Pro-Wrestling Africa), Ambassador Olusesan Olukoya has revealed that elaborate plans have been set in motion towards hosting the continental body’s election in Lagos.

Sports247 reports that Pro-Wrestling Africa’s next annual general meeting and election is scheduled to take place on May 2nd.

It promises to a rewarding gathering of the best brains and hands in professional wrestling from all across the continent, ahead of which Olukoya revealed that delegates and wrestlers will arrive on April 27th and May 1st.

Olukoya further disclosed that the body’s executive committee, which promotes the development of professional wrestling in all African countries, will formally have its election to usher in a new leadership on Saturday, May 2nd.

The PWA scribe added that delegates are expected from Nigeria, Togo, Benin Republic, Ghana and Zimbabwe, ahead of which he said arrangements are already on ground to ensure a successful gathering.

“We’re already putting logistics on ground to ensure a successful AGM and election. Right now, all delegates have been notified about the AGM and they’re all looking forward to be part of the history making event in Nigeria.

“The event will be rounded-off with a PWA/AIWF championship on Sunday, May 3, 2026, while delegates are expected to depart for their various countries on Monday, 4th May, 2026,” Olukoya expatiated.
