Prince Kazeem Eletu FC Boss Sends Best Wishes To Eagles Ahead 2024 AFCON

President of Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club of Lagos, Prince Kazeem Austin Eletu-Odibo has joined millions of football-loving Nigerians to wish the Super Eagles the best of luck as they depart this morning for Cote d’Ivoire to participate in the 34th edition of Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON which kicks off on Saturday.

The senior national team went to Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates for a week of training sessions to prepare for the African football competition.

The senior team with members of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF touched down in Lagos on Tuesday evening for the Send Forth party which was hosted by Lagos State/ Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

Eletu-Odibo who was among the dignitaries who witnessed the Lagos State/NFF Send Forth event told our correspondent that he was confident and optimistic that the senior national team would have a good outing in Cote’d Ivoire and wished them all the best in their outings.

“I am happy to be among the dignitaries who witnessed the Send Forth party organized for our senior national team. As a football stakeholder and club owner, I wish the Super Eagles the best of luck and I strongly believe that they would do well in the tournament,” he said.

The Lagos-based football administrator said the caliber of players being invited for the senior national team showed that the third-time Africa champions stand the chance to win the tournament again.

He however advised the senior national team and coaching crew to remain focused and approach all their matches with all seriousness saying that winning the tournament would be the best gift the Eagles can give soccer-loving Nigerians as a New Year gift who have been supporting the team for many years.

Meanwhile, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in his Send Forth message charged the team to make the country proud in Cote’d Ivoire and also prayed for their successful outing.

“It was an honor to host the Super Eagles this evening at the Lagos State/NFF Send Forth event as they gear up for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. My prayers are with our team for strength, resilience, and unity on this journey.

“To the Super Eagles, you carry the hopes of a nation on your shoulders. As you represent us at the #AFCON2023, may you play with passion, unity, and determination. Make Nigeria proud and bring the cup home. Let’s soar, Super Eagles!,” he concluded.
