The Police teams stamped their authority on the Games, defeating the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in both finals to consolidate their lead on the medal table.

In the women’s final, the Police side displayed exceptional coordination and resilience to overpower the NSCDC, who had to settle for silver, while the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) claimed bronze after a hard-fought third-place match.

The men’s final proved equally dramatic as the Police team edged out NSCDC in a tense encounter that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) rounded off the podium with bronze.

The results now place the Nigeria Police Force at the top of the overall medal standings heading into the next phase of the competition.

Organizers hailed the high level of sportsmanship, discipline, and professionalism displayed by all the participating agencies, describing this year’s edition as one of the most competitive in recent times.

The Games continue on Monday, with Table Tennis and Indoor Games scheduled for the Michael and Felicia Alabi Sports Hall, Osogbo. The atmosphere in Osun’s capital is expected to remain electric as teams battle for supremacy in the days ahead.
